“London, January 2021 - Italian plant-based burger brand Flower Burger, Launched their first London site in the heart of Fitzrovia on the iconic Charlotte Street, on Tuesday 21st January with multi-brand F&B operator Gerry’s Group, who is set to develop the brand across the UK. Inspired by the flower power of hippie culture, Flower Burger is a 100% natural, plant based fast food concept serving colourful vegan burgers and offering a vibrant menu filled with instagrammable burgers across 14 international outlets in Italy, France, and the Netherlands.

The buns range from the turmeric’s vivid yellow colour, to the violet tones of the cherry and beetroot extract and the black from the vegetable charcoal. New and exclusive to the UK site will be the Jungle Burger; served in a green bun made with turmeric and spirulina, red bean and oat patty, lettuce, tomatoes, courgettes, flower cheddar and wild smoky BBQ sauce. Further classic flower burgers on offer will include the Cherry Bomb, featuring a lentil and basmati rice patty in a pink bun coloured with beetroot and the signature Flower Burger, with a seitan and red kidney bean patty served in a black bun. Burgers are paired with a selection of sides including Potato Wedges, Edamame and Patatas Bravas. Vegan desserts will also be on the menu such as the Coco-nuts, made with a creamy coconut heart between nut grains in espresso coffee and cocoa roasted nuts; Flower Cream with Seeds, made with soy-milk yoghurt ice cream and Chocolate Salami, made with dark chocolate, soy milk, whole wheat biscuits with oat flakes. Buns and patties are produced in-house from fresh ingredients and without the use of chemical additives.

In partnership with Italian Architect, Andrea Landhi, the space will be vibrant and fun and filled with psychedelic graphics from the clubbing world mixed with hints of the hippy culture. The Beatles’ iconic yellow submarine will dominate the walls alongside decorated elephants. There will be a mixture of small tables and sharing tables with modernist, Tulip style chairs and colourful furniture counter seating. The space will seat 65 guests (30 with social distancing rules) and there will be a heated and covered terrace on Charlotte Street accommodating 15 guests.

Flower Burger’s Founder and Managing Director Matteo Toto comments: “People do not normally associate vegan food with fun and enjoyment. Flower Burger is about changing this perception, with a psychedelic brand and restaurant décor that fits a natural, great tasting and unique product that we produce ourselves.”

Toto adds: “We are excited about patterning with Gerry’s Group. Their experience as a franchise of Costa Coffee, Wok to Walk and IHOP speaks for itself. They are structured to develop the network of stores and have a deep understanding of the F&B sector.”
